supplies a wide variety of fasteners to the automotive, electronics and aerospace industry.
We have 12 locations around the world.
This position is for our Greer, SC, USA, facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Updating delivery schedules and sales contracts;
-Processing and analyzing incoming customer orders (customer EDI transmissions, mostly);
-Using our computer software and MSExcel to ensure parts are always available for on-time shipments;
-Assisting the sales account manager (preparing quotes to customers, etc.
)
REQUIREMENTS:
- solid experience in a customer service function processing customer orders via EDI’s or email;
- demonstrated working knowledge with MRP computer software (similar to INFOR, SAP or Oracle) and proven skills in MSExcel are “MUST-HAVE” requirements)
- German language skills and knowledge about fasteners would be a plus;
- Must be reliable and detail-oriented;
-Ability to push back customer order releases that cannot be fulfilled;
-Affinity working with numbers is required;
