Job Description
Responsible for leading regulatory and compliance policy maintenance and risk mitigation related to National Firearms Act (NFA)-controlled products for production, domestic distribution, and exports.
Develops ITAR and export policy and manages licensing and distribution channel compliance.
Daily duties include working directly with ATF and NFA branches to ensure timely registration and transfer of all NFA-regulated items.
In addition to those responsibilities, this role leads internal audits of business processes, procedures, and physical product control.
Regular review and revision of internal compliance controls and training as laws and regulations change by either corporate industry, and/or governmental agency.

Responsibilities
Confirms compliance policies and practices adhere to NFA, ATF, ITAR, and DoD regulations.
Ensures accurate ATF Form creation, Bound Book entry, transaction records for serialized inventories.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all legislative and regulatory action related to product production, distribution, transfer, and exportation.
Supervises Compliance Administrator and ensures all compliance processes are trained & followed.
Serves as contact for ATF and law enforcement compliance inquiries.

Requirements:
Qualifications
Must be a U.
S.
Citizen due to ITAR regulations.
Bachelor’s degree.
Strong working knowledge of ITAR compliance, export licensing, and DoD contract requirements.
5+ years relevant experience in technology, firearms, defense, or other highly regulated industry.
Firearms and NFA product-specific experience is preferred.
