We are a leading manufacturer of electrical contractor tools, seeking a regional sales professional.
We market and sell our products through contractor supply houses and the wholesale electrical supply channel.
We are seeking a dynamic, proven sales professional with knowledge and experience in selling to the construction industry.
The Regional Sales Professional will be responsible for working closely with all distributors and key contractors within the Southeastern region which includes West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Northern Florida (excluding the panhandle).
Successful candidates must reside in the territory.
Experience in selling electrical contractor tools such as Greenlee, Gardner Bender, Klein or Ideal would be a plus.
The successful candidate will:
Maintain a home-based office and be willing to travel an average of 10 to 12 nights per month
Have excellent organizational and time management skills
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Plan and perform sales calls, appointments and site visits
Develop and maintain relationships with both current and potential clients to market the products provided by Current Tools
Create opportunities by making a high volume of sales calls to targeted contractors and distributors
Demonstrate proficiency with basic computer skills
Be highly motivated and effective working independently
